Bright Fall Day
Sweatpants.
I received a lovely little care package from Spotted Moth a few days ago. Among the things that I picked out where these comfy sweatpants. I’ve worn them twice in a row! Is that bad? I just LOVE how comfy and chic they can be depending on how you choose to style them. This to me is a great on the go Mom look because I don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort!

Layered Fall Outfit
I had so much fun getting ready yesterday because I finally had a chance to “slightly” layer up. The weather was cold and frisky and that called for a thick scarf, tights, and a cool jacket. It rained for quite a bit so we took a little family trip to the woods (a.k.a. mountains) to feel the freshness of mother nature and to clear our minds with the pleasant scent of wet dirt and leaves. The stillness and quite atmosphere works just like medicine.

Holiday Look #1: The Cozy Sweater.
Hello. It’s been a week and it feels like a month since my last post. Sorry guys! But I have been uploading A LOT of YouTube beauty videos and vlogs in case you’ve missed them.
To celebrate the first week of December, I’ll be posting a lot of different looks that reflect the holiday spirit. The cozy, warm, chunky sweater paired with crisp, white pants, and elegant earring makes it a great Holiday look in my book. Not everything has to be glitz and glam

Down by the Railroad.
Yesterday was a pretty eventful afternoon. It started with an unexpected exit of the 105 freeway because we thought we had a flat tire. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case. Because of the unanticipated exit, we were desperately trying to find the entrance to the freeway so we wouldn’t be late, and stumbled across these dormant train tracks. I’ve always wanted to shoot by the tracks, so what better time than now. I later had a team strategy meeting at 5PM to discuss future opportunities and then a fun bowling party at Lucky Strike. I wanted to wear something that was casual, but still put together. I went with well-fitted denim jeans and a fall, tribal print sweater that was adequate enough for a meeting, but still fun for a night of bowling (STRIKE!). I finished the look with these great, comfortable heels from Aldo (a few years old), minimal gold accessories, and my greatly used LV Neverfull.

Honeydew.
Here’s a holiday look I’ve put together for another shivery day. This would be my ideal outfit for a Christmas Eve party. You will find that you can embrace these frigid holidays with this festive outfit. Underneath the coat is a Little Black Dress, which goes well with my honeydew coat and black tights. I wanted the coat to be the center of attention so I went with an all black look to give the coat the limelight. I felt that if I included other colors, whether it was complementary or not, it would be fighting for attention and the look would not be as flattering. What do you guys think?
I also wanted to announce my exciting partnership with Cosmo for Latinas! I’ll be their monthly beauty blogger so stay tuned for more exciting information coming soon!

How I Stay Warm & Stylish in the Fall!
The temperatures are dropping and winter is approaching. I already have begun to take out all of my warm clothing, shoes, and accessories. I believe this outfit proves just that. Even though the sun was out today, the air was still brisk and cold. For this look, I began by taking a thick plaid top and paired it with some black tights. I like pairing my black UGG Australia boots with dark bottoms because it keeps the look streamlined and they elongate my legs.
My Classic Tall boots have becomes a winter staple in my wardrobe because they are extremely comfortable and warm. The sheepskin lining helps my feet stay comfortable at room temperature, which is why my feet don’t sweat. That type of lining is what makes these boots an amazing investment.
A few years back when I use to travel without them, I would always carry a pair of thick socks to keep my feet warm during the flight. The cabin always dropped temperature and my feet felt like they were about to fall off. Luckily, with these boots my feet feel like they’re wrapped in a thick, warm blanket. They’re also a breeze to take off and put on when going through airport security.
It wasn’t until about a year ago that I bought my first pair of UGG boots, and with the proper care I gave them, they still look brand new a year later. I bought the UGG Stain and Water Repellant from Nordstrom to keep them looking clean and fresh. A few weeks back when I took a trip to NYC, I went out to dinner to an upscale restaurant. As I was eating and enjoying my food, one of the waiters dropped gravy on the floor and it splattered all over my boots. I didn’t realize at that moment that it had fallen on my boots and when I came back to the hotel room and noticed the gravy on my left shoe, I thought they would be ruined! I waited until it dried a bit and then I was easily able to flake it off without ruining my shoes, thanks to the repellant and the great quality of the boots.
I’ll be posting a lot more outfits in my blog this season with more styled looks wearing my black and also chocolate UGG Australia Classic Tall boots. I like the classic tall style because they’re more versatile. I can roll them down for a whole new look or just keep them long and straight like in this outfit. Enjoy !

NEW Maybelline Color Sensational The Buffs Collection (swatches)
Today I wanted to share some requested swatches of the new Maybelline lipsticks of “The Buff” collection. I posted a picture on Instagram a few days ago and several of you asked for swatches, so as requested here they are.
P.S.
I found mine at CVS about a week ago, and loved the numerous different shades that were available for mostly any skin tone as far as “nudes” go. The formula is rich and creamy, with Pigmentation that varies between colors. The darker you go, the longer the wear. Don’t be afraid to pick your shade at you your local drug store.

Outfit of the Day: Crisp
Today I wore an outfit that’s very crisp and clean. I’ve had these snake skin print jeans from Old Navy for quite a few months and they’ve surprised me quite a bit as to how versatile they have been. Animal prints are always a great neutral that gives more flare and attitude than a boring solid. I toned down the print of the pants by pairing them with an off white blouse with and embellished collar and a white fitted and structured blazer from Zara. Since everything is lacking in “color” I paired a bright pink lip (impassioned by MAC) on the lips for a subtle, but fun pop.

The Winter Look
Happy Sunday hot mommas!! Today I had a weird morning. Woke up around 4:50 AM because the wind outside was creating a loud roar and plenty of raucous that quite honestly had me in fear, but that’s what I get for watching ghost shows before bed. LOL. I can only blame myself. To help the case, Izek woke up around 6 AM and didn’t go back to sleep till around 10:30 AM. I don’t know, the day just seemed out of place. We’ve had been in the house all day so we decided to step outside and grab something to eat and also get some fresh air in our systems. The winds were cold and almost icy in the afternoon even thought the sun was out which gave me the perfect excuse to pull out my new coat that I bought at Macy’s a few weeks back. I fell in love with the shape because it didn’t overwhelm my small frame. What do you guys think? Is it too much with the faux fur trim? I’m kinda feeling it!
Also, I got my hair colored again! So in love and my girl Tara always hooks it up! A lot of you asked me for her info so with her permission here it is! I’m not lying when I say shes the best hair dresser in the valley in my humble opinion! We even talked about dying my hair purple, blue, or pink next time I go in. We will have to wait and see!

In Aspen Colorado
Hey there my sugar pies! I’m blogging to you all the way from the very icy frigid Aspen Co.
We took a family vacation this week to celebrate Izek’s 3rd birthday here and enjoy the snow for the first time. If you’re an avid viewer of my YouTube channel, then you know that I’ve been craving a real winter wonderland. I’ve never touched or seen real snow in my entire life until now and it’s just so magical, cold, and powdery. I love it here! The residents here are so blessed to be around beautiful scenery all around.
We rented a cabin in the middle of the mountains and we are just enjoying the bright white snow that blankets this city as we relax in our cozy home for the week.
Keep a look out for Daily Vlogs of our trip here! XO

The Beauty of Growing Up
The time is getting near and we have to depart this place which seems like only a dream. I make traveling one of my priorities because I love creating memories and capturing them in pictures and video.
If you’ve seen this VLOG, then you know I’ve had some pretty mild hoarding tendencies because I use to have a hard time detaching my emotions from objects. I felt that if I lost and gave away certain things that had sentimental value, then the memory would be gone with it too, but it’s not true. Memories are forever in your heart and with technology now days, it’s easy to capture moments so they can last forever. I’m talking about this because I wanted to share with you how much it means to me to travel to different places. It can be anywhere from the next city over, to across the world in a new country.
Maturity can do wonders to your soul when you start to realize how miniscule the things you thought where important actually aren’t. A lot of things use to stress me out and it wasn’t until I turned 26 that I became more aware with life and just enjoying every moment you are blessed with. I’ve always been good at dealing with change, especially because in the military that’s something that comes quite often. When I had Izek and I started to see him grow up so fast, I started to get scared. And to think that I’m now in my late 20′s…man, that sent me into a full-blown panic attack. That’s the beauty of life though, we grow old. We live. We just have to make sure that every moment is well spent with the people you love, doing the things that truly make your soul happy, like painting. It’s actually one of my hidden talents. I mean, I’m no Picasso by any means, but I think I’m good enough to where I can call it a hidden talent.
Painting, or just art in general brings so much joy to my heart. I like to paint spontaneously because I don’t like having “schedules”. When I paint instead of doing something I’m obligated to do, that’s when the real happiness comes out. I end of having a better day. And at the end of the day, happiness is a choice. How can we not choose to be happy and do things that bring that emotion out.
Anyway, this post is longer than I expect, but I’m sitting in my cabin, back from dog sledding, and I felt like letting my feelings out. I can’t tell you how many time’s I’ve done this and almost always end up deleting it and just writing my outfit details. I hope some of you can appreciate this. Take care and see you tomorrow!

Forever 21 Premium Cosmetic Review & First Impression
Forever 21 just recently launched their new Premium Cosmetic line, which includes 30 different products ranging from skin care to brushes. Today I wanted to give you guys a brief overview of all the prices and shades available to go along with my new video of my “first” impression of this line. In the video I did a full face makeup application testing out all of the products that were sent to me to see how well they held up, the pigmentation, and a lot more initial thoughts. Watch below and see what products where hits and which one you should stay away from.
Face Makeup and Skin Care
-Matte Foundation $14.80 (Light, Medium, Tan)
- Luminizer $10.80 (24 Karat, Rose Gold)
- Blotting Powder $12.80
- Smoothing Face Balm $10.80
- Face Moisturizer $10.80
- Face Primer $10.80
- Liquid Foundation $14.80 (Light, Medium, Tan)
- Concealer Stick $10.80 (Light, Medium, Tan)
- Pressed Powder $12.80 (Light, Medium, Tan)
*Poor color selection when it comes to foundation, pressed powder and concealer. The shades are limited to three unrealistic skin tones. Even though I’m considered medium complexion, the “medium” is too light and the tan is too dark. For a foundation that’s worth $14.80, I would expect a higher quality formula and a larger variety of shades.
Highlighters and Blushes
- Highlighter Lotion $10.80
- Luminizer $10.80 (24 K, Rose Gold)
- Classic Blush $9.80 (Rose Petal, Coral Glow, Date Night)
- Shimmer Stick $10.80 (Champagne Pear, Rose Gold)
- Lip and Cheek Stain $10.80 (Peachy Cheeks, Country Club Pink, Flushed)
* From this section I would recommend the Luminizer in 24K. It gave my skin a healthy, dewy look and it’s not over the top shimmery. For lighter complexions I would go with Rose Gold. You can mix a 1 or 2 pumps of this product with your favorite foundation.
Eye Makeup
- Eyebrow Kit $10.80
- 2-in-1 Priming Mascara $9.80
- Volume and Length Mascara $9.80
- Gel Eyeliner $8.80
- Liquid Eyeliner $8.80
- Cream Eye Shadow $7.80
- Shimmer Eye Shadow $7.80
The mascaras is what I was the most disappointed in because it didn’t provide my lashes with any length or volume. The wands from both the Volume and Length mascara and the 2-in-1 priming mascaras are nicely shaped but I believe the formula is to blame. I am excited to test out the cream eye shadows though. I’m a huge fan of cream products because they are so easy to use and can be very forgivable. Great for beginners. I also love the wide range of colors provided. The gel eyeliner is great! Creamy, pigmented, and you get a good amount to last you 6-12 months.
Lipstick and Lipgloss
- Creamy Lipstick $8.80
- High Shine Lip Gloss $6.80
- Shimmer Lip Gloss $7.80
(All shades are available to view on their website)
I’m a fan of the lip products for sure. And if there’s anything you want to test and try from this line I think it should be the lipsticks and lip-glosses. They go on smoothly with a velvety finish. They are also very pigmented and true to color. There’s a larger variety of flattering shades from nudes to bolds in both the lipsticks and glosses.
Makeup Brushes
- Foundation Cosmetic Brush $7.80
- Eyeliner Cosmetic Brush $4.80
- Powder Cosmetic Brush $7.80
- Blush Cosmetic Face Brush $7.80
- Brow Cosmetic Brush $4.80
- Eye Shadow Cosmetic Brush $4.80
