Throwback Festival 2014

I can’t remember the last time that that Jesse and I had an actual date, alone. Needless to say, we were super excited for Saturday to get here. Believe it or not, I actually was a bit nervous about our date. As soon as we woke up, Jesse and I started scrambling trying to pick up around the house and make breakfast. And to make matters more intense, Jesse still needed to get a haircut (he had a baby fro).

Our plans were to have lunch and be out the door at 1:30pm, but we didn’t leave until 3pm. The festival was in San Diego too and the 405 traffic was horrible that Saturday afternoon. We made it to my mother-in-law’s house around 4pm so we had about 3 hours to be in our seats (event started at 7).

The traffic didn’t pick up one bit all the way to Orange County. Jesse then decided he was going to take a shortcut, and hopped on the 73 freeway even though we didn’t have the Fastrak. It definitely paid off because we got to SD in under 2 hours, and still had time to hit up Carl’s Jr…lol

Upon arriving at the festival, we received our green wristbands with our free drink vouchers, and headed to our seats. I wasn’t expecting such a big crowd. The DJs were awesome. They really had the place jumping. We seriously had the best seats in the house. I can’t believe Dj Quik shook my hand. He was the best artist of the night. Following Quik, was E-40, then Bone Thugs. I was really hoping Too Short would make a surprise appearance. The show was still fun, especially because I was with my man spending some much needed quality time.

I hope you guys enjoyed this BP. See you guys later!
